Can You Treat Candida Die Off Symptoms with Essential Oils and Aromatherapy?

What Causes Candida Die Off Symptoms?

When you begin to successfully eliminate excessive candida albicans from your system, they will begin to die and turn to toxins that must be flushed from your body. This can result in what is known as candida die off symptoms.

Sometimes there are more toxins produced than your body can efficiently off-load and, as a result, you experience candida die off symptoms similar to your initial symptoms and sometimes they can be even more severe than your original candidiasis symptoms.

This is necessary and natural.  If the system you are using to kill off the excess yeast from your body is doing it’s work, you will have toxins to flush and, if they are more than your system can handle, you will have candida die off symptoms. There’s no way around it.

The good news is that this “Herxheimer” response (a reaction that causes an intensification of symptions right before your health begins to improve), is short-lived.  It can last from a few days to a few weeks, but you can lessen the severity of your candida die off symptoms by following this detoxification method to speed things along.

How Can Essential Oils & Aromatherapy Help Candida Die Off Symptoms?

Essential oils are the concentrated essences of flowers, fruits, herbs, and plants, and have been proven to be extremely potent when used medicinally.

For hundreds of years, all around the world, essential oils and aromatherapy have been used successfully in the treatment of many adverse conditions, and candida die off symptoms is just one of them.

A lot of so called aromatherapy candles out on the market today contain paraffin wax which is a byproduct of the crude oil process and fragrance oils that are chemically derived. Some major manufacturers have paraffin wax, combined with natural scents. Some have natural waxes combined with chemical derived synthetic scents. My idea of a natural “aromatherapy candle” is 1 that is all natural. So, what are natural scents? They are crucial oils.

Good point. I always use beeswax and 100% Pure Organic Essential Oils whenever I make something “creamy.”
